Founders

At the age of 12 and 13, Robbie and Brittany Bergquist heard the story of a soldier returning from Iraq with a near $8,000 phone bill. They couldn’t believe that a man serving his country was not able to call his family for free. They decided to do something about it.

With just $21 and some help from their parents, Cell Phones For Soldiers was born. Now over 20 years later, Cell Phones For Soldiers remains a family run non-profit organization with a commitment to serving those who serve our country.

Our passionate team at Cell Phones for Soldiers is dedicated to supporting military families. We work together to coordinate phone donations, manage programs, and connect with supporters to make a positive impact on the lives of veterans and active-duty service members.
