Search for one of over 3,000 CPFS drop-off locations nearest you to recycle your devices.

Shipping Instructions

Ship phones directly to CPFS using a prepaid shipping label for 10 or more devices or feel free to cover the shipping cost if you are able. For less than 10 devices please use a self-paid label.

Phone Donation Process

Donated phones are wiped of personal information and refurbished for sale through our partner, the Buybackstore, or responsibly recycled for parts.

How Your Donation Helps

Proceeds fund our programs that provide free communication solutions to our Active/Guard/Reserve Service members and Veterans in need.

What We Recycle

Cell Phones

Any and all cell phones and smart phones, working or broken.

Other Electronics

Any and all iPads, tablets, and mp3 players, working or broken.

Chargers

Chargers for phones, tablets, or mp3 players. 

Accessories

Any accessories such as cases etc. in their original packaging.

What We Don’t Recycle

Laptops

We do not accept laptops or computers of any kind

Accessories Missing Packaging

We do not accept cellphone or tablet accessories not in their original packaging.

Responsible Recycling

Since 2004, Cell Phones For Soldiers has recycled over 25 million devices. R2 Responsible Recycling is a standard specifically created for the electronics recycling industry by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International. The R2 Standard Provides commin set of safety and environmental processes, measures, and documentation requirements.

Keeping Your Personal Information Safe

Cell Phones For Soldiers and our recycling partner is R2:2013 (Responsible Recycling) and NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) AAA certified and follows the Department of Defense standards for wiping hard drives and devices.
